Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily inbound (raw material/components) and outbound (finished goods) logistics operations.
Coordinate with transporters, courier partners, and freight vendors to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies during transit.
Prepare and manage logistics documentation including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, LR copies, and dispatch reports.
Liaise with the stores/warehouse team to ensure accurate loading/unloading and timely dispatch as per production schedules.
Negotiate freight rates and finalize cost-effective transportation options while maintaining service quality.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, e-way bill, transport permits, etc.) for goods movement.
Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate transporter performance periodically.
Monitor logistics costs and work towards cost optimization without compromising delivery timelines.
Coordinate with sales/production teams to align dispatch schedules with customer delivery commitments.
