Role & responsibilities
Lead continuous improvement projects to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
Implement Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Standard Work.
Conduct root cause analysis using tools like Fishbone, 5 Why, and Pareto analysis.
Monitor KPIs related to productivity, OEE, rejection rates, cycle time, and cost savings.
Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve operational performance.
Support implementation of Six Sigma projects and statistical process control (SPC).
Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality and safety.
Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards.
Train and mentor shop floor teams on continuous improvement tools and best practices.
Support automation and digitalization initiatives where applicable.
Prepare MIS reports and present improvement results to management.
