Purpose
The Project Subcontracts Engineer manage coordinate subcontractor relationships, ensuring the successful execution of project subcontracts within budget, schedule, and quality standards

Responsibilities
You are the key point of contact, facilitating transparent communication between project teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
You support the tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and awarding of subcontracts, ensuring alignment with project requirements
You ensure all contract documentation, approvals, and records are accurately maintained
You support risk management by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential subcontract-related risks
You contribute to continuous improvement initiatives,



suggesting enhancements to subcontracting processes and strategies
You provide regular updates and reports to project management on subcontractor performance and progress

Education
At least a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Experience
At least 5 years of experience in subcontract management within the Oil Gas industry, with robust negotiation and communication skills
Proficient understanding and knowledge of subcontracting principles contract law, and industry practices
Certification in Contract Management (eg, CPCM, CFCM) is preferred
