We are looking for a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding to drive business growth and expand our customer base in the Mumbai market.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Sea & Air freight forwarding sales, with a proven ability to generate business from both current and existing customers, build long-term client relationships, and achieve sales targets.

Candidates with strong knowledge of the local Mumbai freight forwarding market will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Drive sales of Sea & Air freight forwarding services across the assigned market.
Generate new business through lead generation, prospecting, and market development.
Develop business from both recent and existing customers to achieve sales targets.
Identify and convert new sales opportunities within the local market.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
Focus on customer retention and account growth to increase the overall client base.




Understand customer requirements and provide suitable freight forwarding solutions.
Conduct regular market mapping and identify potential customers and business prospects.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure consistent business generation.
Work towards achieving individual and organizational sales and revenue targets.

Candidate Requirements
Graduate in any discipline.
3–15 years of experience in Sales / Business Development within the Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry.
Strong experience in selling Sea & Air Export and Import services.
Good understanding of the local Mumbai freight forwarding market.
Proven experience in recent business development and lead generation.
Strong customer acquisition and retention skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong customer relationship-management and networking abilities.
Target-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive approach.
