Role & responsibilities
Design and develop mounting structures for ground-mounted and rooftop solar PV projects.
Perform structural analysis and design calculations for module mounting structures, foundations, and support systems.
Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, detailed engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Optimize structural designs to minimize steel consumption while ensuring structural integrity, safety, and compliance with applicable standards.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure timely and accurate engineering deliverables.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of SolidWorks is an added advantage.
Solid understanding of steel structure design, foundation design, and structural optimization techniques.
Familiarity with relevant Indian standards, including IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, and other applicable design codes.
