We are hiring for a Database Administrator role for our client, a technology company.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain database systems (MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server)
Monitor database performance and perform tuning as needed
Implement and test backup and disaster recovery procedures
Manage database security, user access, and permissions
Troubleshoot database issues and minimize downtime
Support application teams with database design and query optimization
Required Skills:
Strong experience administering relational databases (MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server)
Understanding of backup, recovery, and high-availability configurations
Experience with performance monitoring and query tuning
Knowledge of database security best practices
Robust troubleshooting and documentation skills
Familiarity with scripting for automation (Shell/PowerShell)
Good to Have:
Experience with cloud databases (RDS/Azure SQL)
Oracle/Microsoft DBA certification
Exposure to NoSQL databases
