The role supports high precision manufacturing and drives continuous quality improvement. n nKey Responsibilities nu2022 Oversee daily operations of the Gear Lab and CMM Lab,



ensuring accurate and timely measurement of components. nu2022 Manage machine shop process quality, including in process checks and first piece inspections. nu2022 Lead problem solving for dimensional, machining, and gear related quality issues. nu2022 Maintain compliance with relevant standards (ISO/IATF, GDu0026T, gear measurement standards). nu2022 Ensure calibration, documentation, and audit readiness for all measuring instruments and labs. nu2022 Support APQP/PPAP activities through layout inspection and capability studies. nu2022 Drive quality improvements using SPC, MSA, 8D, and root cause analysis tools. nu2022 Lead and develop a team of quality inspectors, CMM programmers, and lab technicians.nn## Qualifications:nnu2022 BE/BTech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering. nu2022 12-15 years of experience in precision machining or automotive manufacturing quality.nn## Skills:nnu2022 Hands on experience with gear inspection and CMM measurement.nnu2022 Strong understanding of metrology, GDu0026T, gear measurement, and machining processes. nu2022 Proficiency in problem-solving and quality tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D). nu2022 Leadership, communication, and team development capabilities.nnu2022 Experience in supplier quality will be an added advantage.n
