Role Summary
• Directs the financial reporting of Corporate Real Estate Portfolio (including the analysis and interpretation of financial trends and results).
• Analyzes and interprets expense reports for the guidance of Senior Management and Business Unit Management.
• Oversees audits and preparation of financial statements pertaining to Corporate Real Estate Portfolio.
• Provide business stakeholders with data and building metrics to be considered in their decision making in conjunction with a Real Estate strategy.
• Provides Statutory and GAAP financial reporting information for Corporate Real Estate Portfolio.
• Remains current of Company financial reporting and regulatory developments ensuring Corporate Real Estate is within compliance.
• Develops and implements financial reporting policies and procedures for Corporate Real Estate.
• Models lease economics for proper expense recognition.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Reviews the financial performance of the properties/facilities with managers, third party vendors and financial staff.
• Responsible for compiling, monitoring and analyzing the Corporate Real Estate Portfolio budget and monitoring actual performance.
• Develops and monitors Corporate Real Estate Administrative and Furniture budget and development of accounting charges.
• Analyses and recommends changes that result in reduced operating costs.
