NSDC is expanding its “Center for Future Skills (CFS)”
initiative across Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to create
industry -aligned future skills infrastructure and learning ecosystems across
India.
The organization aims to establish 50+ Centres for the Future Skills within a year in partnership with universities, engineering colleges,
autonomous institutions, and other higher education ecosystems.
The role requires a high -energy relationship and business
development skilled who can drive institutional partnerships, manage
revenue realisation, ensure successful operational coordination, and cross -sell
NSDC ecosystem offerings to partner institutions.
The ideal candidate should possess strong stakeholder
management skills, commercial orientation, and understanding of higher
education and skilling ecosystems in India.
Key Responsibilities
1. Institutional Partnership Development
- Identify
and onboard Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for establishment of
Center for Future Skills (CFS).
- Build
strategic relationships with Vice Chancellors, Directors, Principals,
Deans, Placement Heads, and institutional leadership teams.
- Drive
end -to -end partnership discussions including presentations, proposals
submissions, commercials, approvals, and closures.
- Develop
regional and sectoral partnership pipelines to support rapid expansion
targets.
2. Account Management & Relationship Handling
- Serve
as the primary relationship manager for assigned institutional partners.
- Ensure
strong engagement and long -term retention of partner institutions.
- Conduct
regular review meetings with partner institutions to track progress,
utilization, and opportunities for expansion.
- Resolve
operational and coordination issues in collaboration with internal teams.
3. Revenue Collection & Commercial Management
- Ensure
timely invoicing, payment follow -ups, and revenue realisation from partner
institutions.
- Track
commercial milestones and ensure adherence to agreed payment schedules.
- Coordinate
with finance and operations teams to minimize outstanding receivables.
- Maintain
accurate revenue and partnership MIS reports.
4. Cross -Selling & Ecosystem Expansion
- Identify
opportunities to cross -sell other NSDC products, initiatives, and
ecosystem offerings within partner institutions.
- Promote
additional programs including:
- Executive
education
- Faculty
development programs
- Apprenticeships
- Industry
certifications
- Digital
learning solutions
- Sector
Skill Council offerings
- Placement
and employability initiatives
- Drive
deeper institutional engagement through multi -product adoption.
5. Program & Operational Coordination
- Coordinate
with internal operations, academic, technology, and marketing teams for
successful implementation of CFS centres.
- Monitor
centre activation timelines and implementation milestones.
- Support
launch events, workshops, industry connect activities, and outreach
initiatives.
- Ensure
partner institutions derive measurable value and learner impact from the
initiative.
6. Market Intelligence & Expansion Strategy
- Track
emerging trends in future skills, higher education, and workforce
transformation.
- Identify
high -potential geographies, sectors, and institution categories for
expansion.
- Benchmark
institutional partnership models and recommend improvements to the CFS
framework.
- Support
development of strategic proposals and growth plans for scaling the
initiative nationally.
Requirements
Educational Qualification
- MBA
/ PGDM / Master’s degree from a reputed institution preferred.
- Background
in business development, education, skilling, management, or related
fields preferred.
Experience
- 7–10
years of experience in:
