Role & responsibilities
Source and procure solar materials, including PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, BOS (Balance of System) components, and electrical accessories.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize purchase orders.
Coordinate with project, engineering, and stores teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or excess stock.
Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and project specifications.




Develop and maintain robust relationships with vendors for improved pricing and service.
Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and MIS as required by management.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contractual terms.

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
13 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
Experience in the solar, electrical, EPC, or renewable energy industry is preferred
