We're seeking a skilled Freelance Video Editor & Content Creator to join our team on a contract basis and help produce high-quality educational videos for our online robotics curriculum portal. This role is perfect for someone with expertise in video production, multimedia design, and digital content creation, who enjoys crafting engaging materials that inspire young learners in STEM.

As an independent contractor, you'll work flexibly on projects involving screen recordings, AI-generated audio, photography, and marketing assets.

This is a project-based engagement: Initial burst of 6 projects over 2 months, followed by 1 project per month plus ongoing marketing and social media support. Payments will be milestone-based.

What Youll Create
Step-by-step build videos: Edit complete educational videos for each curriculum project, combining instructor footage, screen recordings, diagrams, and component close-ups into a clear, logical tutorial.
Screen recordings: Capture and edit on-screen segments (coding, CAD, software setup) so steps are legible and easy to follow.
Multimedia integration: Take or incorporate high-quality photos of projects, parts, and components, and weave them into the videos at the right moments.




AI voiceover & audio: Generate and sync skilled narration using AI tools such as ElevenLabs; clean up and balance audio.
Post-production polish: Handle transitions, on-screen captions/labels, callouts, pacing, lighting and sound correction, and visual effects that aid comprehension.
Web-ready delivery: Export and optimize videos for the learner portal, with consistent formatting across the curriculum.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience editing educational, tutorial, or how-to videos ideally long-form instructional content.
Proficiency with screen-recording tools (e.g. OBS Studio, Camtasia) and an editing suite such as Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects (or equivalent).
Comfort with AI audio tools (e.g. ElevenLabs) and basic photography/lighting for product and component shots.
A robust portfolio of educational tutorials or instructional videos.
Ability to work independently from a written brief, with excellent time management and transparent communication.
Reliable internet and your own editing equipment for remote work.
