Role & responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational goals and cost targets.
Identify potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and establish relationships to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
Monitor market trends, prices, and supply sources to identify prospects for cost savings.
Oversee the purchase order process, including order placement, tracking, and delivery verification.
Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and specifications.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
Evaluate supplier performance and quality of products or services, taking corrective actions as needed.
Manage inventory levels to minimize waste, optimize production efficiency, and meet store demand.
Establish and maintain documentation of optimized processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
Preferred candidate profile
SAP/ERP and Fluency in English Mandatory.
Experience should be from OEM/ODM or Engineering component Manufacturers.
Vendor development and supply chain management skills should be required.
The candidate should be Ahmedabad City base.
