The Surveyor will be responsible for executing detailed surveying activities for 765 KV transmission line projects, ensuring accurate alignment, elevation, and positioning of towers and associated components.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed and check surveys, contouring, profiling, and prop setting.
Extract and process data using DGPS and Total Station equipment.
Conduct topographic surveys and collect data related to land boundaries and existing infrastructure.
Assist in Right-of-Way (ROW) determination and ensure statutory compliance.
Prepare contour maps, alignment sheets, digital terrain models, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and PLS tools.
Coordinate with engineers and project teams to meet timelines.
Ensure quality checks on survey data and adherence to safety standards.
Skills & Requirements:
Experience in surveying for 765 KV or similar/higher voltage transmission line projects.
Proficiency in DGPS, Total Station, AutoCAD, PLS, MS Excel, and MS Word.
Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.
Education:
Diploma in Surveying / Civil Engineering (mandatory).
A degree in Civil Engineering will be an added advantage.
