Job Description
Lead R&D; for cakes and cookies including recent product development and innovation
Develop and optimize bakery formulations for taste, texture, shelf life, and cost
Conduct lab trials, pilot trials, and commercial scale-up
Work closely with Production and QA during plant trials and troubleshooting
Ensure compliance with FSSAI and food safety standards
Maintain documentation for formulations, SOPs, and trials
Lead and mentor bakery R&D; team
Coordinate with Marketing, Procurement, and suppliers for product launches
Develop and improve cake and cookie formulations aligned with market trends.
Conduct R&D; trials to optimize quality, shelf life, and cost.
Scale up lab recipes to commercial production and support plant trials.
Optimize baking, processing, and packaging parameters for consistency.
Collaborate with Production, QA, Marketing, and Procurement teams for product launches.
Drive cost optimization through alternative ingredients and formulations.
Track market trends and convert insights into creative products.
