Key Responsibilities:-

Raw Material Quality Control
Inspect and test incoming tea leaves, herbs, spices (if applicable), flavors, and other raw materials.
Verify quality parameters as per approved specifications.
Approve or reject raw materials based on test results.

In-Process Quality Control
Monitor quality during blending, processing, and packaging operations.
Conduct routine quality checks to ensure consistency in the manufacturing process.
Report deviations immediately and recommend corrective actions.

Finished Product Testing
Perform physical, chemical, and sensory evaluation of finished tea products.
Verify compliance with internal quality standards and customer specifications.
Release finished products only after successful quality verification.

Laboratory Testing
Perform routine laboratory analysis, including:
Moisture analysis
Bulk density
Sieve analysis (particle size)
Color and appearance evaluation
Organoleptic (taste, aroma, liquor, and infusion) evaluation
Foreign matter inspection
Maintain calibration records of laboratory instruments.





Documentation
Maintain laboratory registers and quality reports.
Prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA), inspection reports, and batch quality records.
Ensure documentation complies with GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, ISO 22000, and company procedures.

Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
Identify quality issues and non-conforming materials.
Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and QA departments for issue resolution.

Hygiene & Food Safety
Ensure laboratory cleanliness and adherence to Positive Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Support GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality management system implementation.
Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections.

Continuous Improvement
Suggest improvements in testing methods and laboratory efficiency.
Participate in quality improvement projects and process optimization initiatives.
