Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Manager – Public Relations with strong PR agency experience, excellent media relationships, and the ability to manage multiple client mandates across sectors.

The ideal candidate should have deep understanding of media relations, strategy, client servicing, and reputation management. Exposure to healthcare communication will be an added advantage, though the role involves working across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities

Client Servicing & Account Management

- Lead day-to-day client communication and relationship management
- Translate client objectives into impactful PR strategies
- Drive client calls, reviews, and campaign discussions
- Ensure timely delivery and high-quality execution

Media Relations

- Build strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media professionals across print, digital,



and broadcast media
- Drive media outreach for press releases, interviews, and feature stories
- Secure quality coverage across business, lifestyle, healthcare, and regional media

Strategy & Campaign Planning

- Develop monthly and quarterly PR plans and campaign strategies
- Identify proactive media opportunities, trends, and news angles
- Support current business pitches with strategic ideas and insights

Content & Communication

- Review press releases, pitches, authored articles, and other communication materials
- Ensure compelling and brand-aligned messaging

Team Management

- Mentor and guide junior team members
- Ensure smooth execution, follow-ups, and reporting

Reporting & Documentation

- Track media coverage, campaign performance, and PR outcomes
- Maintain accurate reports, trackers, and media lists

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–8 years of experience in Public Relations, preferably in a PR agency
- Experience handling multi-sector client accounts
- Strong media network across print, digital, and broadcast media
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and teams




- Strong understanding of media strategy, reputation management, and brand communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gamma, Perplexity, and similar platforms
- Healthcare PR experience is an added advantage

Preferred Candidate Profile

PR agency background is mandatory

- Strong in media pitching and client communication
- Candidates must have working proficiency in Kannada language to effectively manage regional media relations and client interactions in Karnataka.
- Proactive, organized, and result-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of balancing strategic thinking, execution, and team leadership

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related fields.
