The Quality control (QC) Executive represents the Titan at the EMS manufacturing site (Chennai) and is fully responsible for ensuring that all products — including mass production units, pilot builds, reworked units, and refurbished/RMA products — meet Titan quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
This role functions as the primary quality authority at the EMS, driving prevention, control, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation across the entire product lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Monitor daily production quality performance. Oversee incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections at EMS and vendors.
2. Validate line setup prior to mass production start. Audit production lines and quality control processes across the models.
3. Perform Pre dispatch inspection (PDI) of each batch and batch clearance.
4. Outgoing Quality check (OGQC) with latest FW & App versions & reporting the same.
5. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues & Drive CAPA (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone). Validate effectiveness of corrective actions. Escalate major quality risks.
6. Review Control Plans, PFMEA, and Process Flow documents. Approve Golden Sample and quality standards alignment.
