Role purpose

As an IAM Architect, you will architect secure, scalable IAM frameworks, integrate identity intelligence into our products, and guide clients in maturing their identity and access management posture. This is a hands-on, collaborative role ideal for someone who blends deep IAM expertise with strong architectural thinking and a passion for improving enterprise security through smarter identity design.

Key accountabilities

Architecture & Design

- Define and implement secure IAM architectures across cloud and hybrid environments.

- Develop standards, patterns, and best practices for authentication, authorization, directory services, privilege management and identity governance.

- Integrate IAM telemetry and identity context into Prevalent AI’s Data Fabric and Exposure Management platform.

Security Engineering & Validation

- Assess identity-related risks, misconfigurations and control gaps across cloud and on-prem systems.

- Conduct identity threat modelling and provide remediation recommendations.

- Validate IAM configurations for adherence to frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001 and zero-trust principles.





Client Collaboration

- Advise client security teams on IAM strategy, identity governance, privilege management, and identity threat detection.

- Support IAM-related use cases across enterprise identity systems, directory services, SSO, and federated identity.

- Provide clear guidance on improving identity hygiene, reducing risk, and enabling secure access patterns.

Cross-Functional Partnership

- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Security Domain Analysts to translate product requirements into identity-driven designs.

- Partner with data engineering teams to bring identity logs into analytics and detection workflows.

- Contribute IAM expertise to solution design, roadmap discussions, and product enhancements.

Skills and Experience

- Strong experience designing and securing IAM solutions across Azure AD, AWS IAM or similar platforms.

- Deep understanding of identity lifecycle management, SSO, MFA, privileged access management and directory services.

- Experience implementing zero-trust identity architectures and identity threat detection principles.

- Familiarity with integrating IAM logs and telemetry into SIEM or analytics platforms.

- Solid architectural and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex identity ecosystems.

- Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Organized, self-driven, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments.
