Responsibilities
Lead and manage the electrical maintenance team ensuring high reliability and availability of all electrical equipment and systems in the power plant.
Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Supervise the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, motors, and control panels.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and statutory regulations to maintain a secure working environment

. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Operations to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues

. - Optimize power consumption and electrical system performance through data-driven analysis and adoption of latest technologies.
Manage budgets, procurements, and vendor relationships related to electrical equipment and services

. - Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and compliance records for audits and inspections

.



- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians by conducting training sessions and performance reviews

. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in electrical system management aligned with Adani’s culture of operational excellence and innovation

. - Participate in strategic planning and execution of plant modernization projects including renewable energy integration.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and contribute to the sustainability goals of the organization by promoting energy-effective solutions

. - Handle emergency response during electrical faults or failures to restore normal operations swiftly.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university.
