Job Description: Physical/Sports Instructor

Position Title: Physical/Sports Instructor (Phase 2Campus)

Department: Physical Education

Reporting To: Principals

Location: Phase 2 Campus (Harsha Institutions)

Key Responsibilities:

1.Sports Program Management:

oOversee the physical education and sports programs across all departments in Phase 2 campus under BU and RGUHS.

oDevelop and implement comprehensive sports schedules, training programs, and fitness initiatives for students.

oEnsure participation of students in intercollegiate, district, state, and national-level sports competitions.

2.Team Formation and Training:

oIdentify and mentor students with potential in various sports disciplines.

oForm and train teams for sports such as cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, athletics, and other relevant games.

oConduct regular practice sessions and organize friendly matches to improve skills and teamwork.

3.Event Organization:

oPlan, organize, and execute intra-campus and inter-campus sports events and tournaments.

oCollaborate with management to arrange logistics, facilities, and resources for sporting activities.

4.Student Engagement:

oPromote sports and physical education by encouraging maximum participation from students across all departments.

oCounsel students on the importance of physical fitness and its impact on their academic performance and overall well-being.





5.Infrastructure and Equipment Management:

oMaintain sports infrastructure, including fields, courts, and gymnasiums, ensuring they are safe and well-equipped.

oManage sports equipment inventory and ensure timely procurement, repair, and replacement.

6.Collaboration:

oWork closely with department heads and student coordinators to integrate sports activities into the overall academic calendar.

oCoordinate with external organizations and sports bodies for student participation in external events.

7.Reporting:

oMaintain records of student participation, achievements, and progress in sports activities.

oSubmit regular reports on sports activities, training programs, and team performance to the management.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed) or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational institution. Experience in coaching or managing teams for competitive sports is an advantage.

oProficiency in multiple sports disciplines and training techniques.

oExcellent communication and organizational abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
