The Microsoft 365 Migration Architect is responsible for designing, configuring, and executing tenant‑to‑tenant migrations of Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams using Quest On Demand Migration (ODM).

This role owns the end‑to‑end M365 migration architecture, including tool setup, security, pilot execution, wave‑based cutovers, and post‑migration validation, while ensuring minimal business disruption and a seamless end‑user experience.

Migration Architecture & Design

- Design tenant‑to‑tenant Microsoft 365 migration architecture for Exchange Online, OneDrive,



and Teams
- Define migration strategy (pilot, wave‑based, or phased cutover)
- Validate target tenant readiness including
- - Licensing

- - Exchange Online configuration
- SharePoint & OneDrive provisioning
- Teams policies and prerequisites

- Define cutover sequencing and rollback strategy

Quest On Demand Migration (ODM) Setup

- Configure Quest ODM for source and target tenants
- Register applications and configure required API permissions
- Set up:
- - Directory sync & user matching
- Mailbox migration jobs
- OneDrive migration jobs
- Teams & Teams chat migration
