Job Description – PGT Chemistry Teacher

Position: PGT Chemistry
Qualification:
M.Sc. in Chemistry
B.Ed. mandatory

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level (Class 11 & 12)

Responsibilities:
Teach Chemistry to Classes 11 & 12 as per CBSE/ICSE curriculum
Prepare lesson plans, practical files, assignments & assessments
Conduct laboratory sessions and ensure safety standards
Track student progress and take remedial sessions
Prepare students for board exams
Maintain classroom discipline and create an engaging learning workplace
Participate in school meetings, PTMs, academic planning & events
Update subject knowledge and teaching methods regularly

Skills Required:
Solid subject knowledge in Organic, Inorganic & Physical Chemistry
Positive communication and classroom management
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Comfortable conducting lab experiments
Knowledge of digital teaching tools (preferred)
