mechanical designer
with solid expertise in
SolidWorks
, specializing in
sheet metal design
,
surface modeling
, and
large assembly handling
. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of mechanical products and systems from concept through production, ensuring high performance and manufacturability.
Design
and
develop
sheet
metal
components
and
assemblies
using
SolidWorks.
Create
complex
surface
models
for
molded
and
aesthetically
demanding
parts.
Handle
and
optimize
large
assemblies
to
ensure
smooth
performance
and
design
integrity.
Generate
detailed
2D
drawings
,
including
GD&
T,
welding
symbols,
and
material
specs.
Apply
design
for
manufacturability (
DFM)
principles
and




collaborate
with
production
teams.
Conduct
interference
checks
,
tolerance
stack-
ups
,
and
assembly
validation.
Work
closely
with
cross-
functional
teams
to
support
prototyping
,
testing
,
and
modifications
.
Manage
design
revisions
using
SolidWorks
PDM
or
similar
systems.
Ensure
designs
comply
with
engineering
standards
,
quality
benchmarks,
and
customer
requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in
Mechanical
Engineering
or
a
related
field.
3

5
years
of
solid
hands-
on
experience
with
SolidWorks
.
