Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and upgrade database servers and tools.
Monitor database performance and tune for efficiency.
Perform regular backups and recovery procedures.
Ensure data security, integrity, and availability.
Create and manage database users and permissions.
Troubleshoot database issues and provide support.
Maintain documentation of database systems and procedures.
Requirements:
Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
Solid knowledge of SQL and database management tools.
Familiarity with backup and recovery techniques.
Understanding of database security practices.
Positive problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with cloud-based databases is a plus
