Job Title: Architect – Train Control Management System (TCMS)

Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced TCMS Architect to lead the design, development, integration, and validation of Train Control & Information Systems (TC&IS;) for rolling stock projects. The role involves defining system architecture, ensuring compliance with railway standards, managing subsystem interfaces, and supporting commissioning and validation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and validation of TC&IS;/TCMS solutions.
- Review customer requirements, technical specifications, and ensure compliance with applicable railway standards.
- Deliver TCMS engineering outputs including network architecture, system architecture, functional specifications, software specifications, and design documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IEC 61375, IEC 61133, and other relevant industry standards.
- Validate TCMS development, configuration, and software deliverables.
- Drive design planning and manage design, verification, and review activities.
- Manage interfaces with key train subsystems including HVAC, Doors, Traction, Auxiliary Systems, PACIS, CCTV, Event Recorder, Brake Systems, TCAS, Train -Ground Communication, and Master Controller.
- Ensure quality and standardization across TCMS hardware, software, and validation deliverables.
- Promote reuse and carry -over of proven designs across projects.
- Support train commissioning, integration, validation, and type testing activities.
- 8–15 years of experience in TCMS, TC&IS;, or Rolling Stock engineering.
- Robust expertise in Train Control & Information Systems architecture and integration.
- Hands -on experience with TCMS design, software development, validation, and commissioning.
- Sound knowledge of IEC 61375, IEC 61133, and railway communication/network standards.
- Experience managing interfaces across multiple train subsystems.
- Strong stakeholder management, technical leadership, and problem -solving skills.
- Ability to lead cross -functional engineering teams and customer interactions.
