We are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Mechanical Engineering to lead multi-sector engineering projects and align closely with senior leadership for a long-term strategic role. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced mix of deep technical knowledge and strong managerial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

A. Engineering Expertise

- Apply global engineering standards and best practices across all functions.
- Provide hands-on leadership in machining, sheet metal, forging, casting, automation, and assembly engineering.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during current product development (NPD) and production phases by addressing tooling corrections, process adjustments, parameter validation, and gauge development.
- Interpret and create engineering drawings with proficiency in GD&T.;
- Lead R&D; initiatives and reverse engineering projects with a strong focus on innovation and quality.
- Utilize 2D/3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD, FreeCAD, and others to support design and development activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9000 and other relevant international material and process standards.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, particularly for client communication and technical documentation.

Leadership & Managerial Responsibilities

- Provide competent, technically sound leadership across engineering teams, vendors, and supply chain partners.
- Work closely with the Managing Director for planning, execution, and daily progress reporting.
- Ensure timely delivery of engineering and production outcomes with accountability and ownership.
- Manage and maintain high-quality technical documentation including SOPs, FMEA, PPAP, CAPA, RCA, and other regulatory or compliance-related material.
- Collaborate on contractual and techno-commercial matters, including NDAs and vendor agreements.
- Actively contribute to marketing initiatives, trade shows, and digital promotions from a technical perspective.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Background in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proven experience in design for manufacturing (DFM), NPD, and transitioning products to mass production.
- Deep understanding of component-level engineering, process identification and selection.
- Strong capabilities in project management and engineering leadership.
- Prior exposure to automation, precision machining, sheet metal components, hot & cold forgings, and castings.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive high-impact engineering decisions.
- Experience working in top management settings with a penetrative approach to technical problem-solving and innovation.
