Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and enhance existing Guidewire deployments to align with evolving business objectives and technology goals.
- Define and implement strategic technology roadmaps while mentoring and guiding development teams.
- Drive technology transformation initiatives to modernize systems and reduce technical debt.
- Manage end-to-end Guidewire implementations, including planning, configuration, customization, testing, and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to distributed and remote engineering teams.
- Oversee Guidewire integration with web services, batch processing, messaging frameworks, and third-party applications.
- Ensure system performance optimization, scalability, and reliability of Guidewire applications.

Required Skills:

- Deep expertise in Guidewire applications — PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire versions 8 and 9 (on-premises).




- Robust proficiency in Guidewire development using GOSU scripting, configuration, and unit testing.
- Proven experience integrating Guidewire with Web Services (SOAP/REST), Batch Processing, and Messaging components.
- Solid understanding of Guidewire configuration, including Data Models, Rules Engine, Workflows, Validations, Form Patterns, PCF, and Underwriting issues.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Guidewire systems.
- Familiarity with Guidewire Marketplace and Commercial Lines of Business.
- Intermediate-level knowledge of Java and SQL.
- Experience handling XML in Guidewire maintenance and development.
- Proficiency with Git, JIRA, and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Sprint-based development.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Awareness of IT Security best practices.
