We are looking for a GPS cum ADAS Technician responsible for installation, testing, troubleshooting, and support of GPS tracking and ADAS systems in fleet vehicles. The role involves working on vehicle electrical systems and coordinating with Fleet -X and Omnicomm platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install and configure GPS tracking devices in vehicles
- Install, test, and support ADAS systems (cameras, radar, collision warning, lane assist, etc.)
- Perform vehicle electrical wiring, fuse connections, and sensor installations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot GPS, ADAS, and vehicle electrical issues
- Use tools such as multimeter, diagnostic scanners, and calibration equipment
- Read and understand wiring diagrams and vehicle layouts
- Coordinate with internal teams for system activation and testing
- Provide field support and attend breakdown or issue calls
- Maintain installation and service records
- Travel to sites as required for installations and maintenance
Requirements
- Hands -on experience in GPS device installation and telematics systems
- Basic to good understanding of ADAS technologies
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems
- Experience handling diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / Degree in Automobile Engineering, Electrical, or Electronics
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Ability to work independently at field locations
- Valuable coordination and basic communication skills
- Travel stay, etc., for business purposes as per company policies.
- Participation in team incentive programs after completion of the probation period
