As a trade fair organiser, we have to approach manufacturers / suppliers of machinery, equipment, technical materials, etc. catering to a respective industry sector asking them to buy exhibition stall space in our trade fair. To participate in B2B trade fairs, companies invest lot of time and money to achieve two basic objectives - brand building and generate sales leads. When a company decides on investing X amount of money on a trade fair which is basically a marketing expenditure, the decision comes from the top management / senior management.
As a Asst. Project Manager, one will have the prospect to interact directly with entrepreneurs / owners of small and medium size companies and marketing teams of medium and large scale companies which in itself is a great learning experience.
This job gives the candidate exposure in 4 basic job profiles:
1. Selling (exhibition space)2. Marketing (promoting the trade fair)3. Operations (on-site activity during the trade fair) & 4. Customer service (continuous communication with the client serving them with required information from time to time)
Experience required: B2B Sales / Marketing experience of 2 years or more
