Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Restaurant Waiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent service to guests, ensure a welcoming dining experience, and work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
- Present menus, explain menu items, and answer questions about food and beverages.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently for the next guests.
- Process guest payments accurately using cash, card, or other payment methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including stocking supplies and preparing the dining area.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.




- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays safely.
