KB Associate is looking for a Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team.

Location: Rajarajan Nagar, Vanagaram, Chennai
Qualification: Diploma Mechanical / BE Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 1–3 Years

Responsibilities

- Create and modify 2D and 3D mechanical designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Develop manufacturing drawings and fabrication details.
- Design sheet metal components and assemblies.
- Prepare BOMs and design documentation.
- Coordinate with Production and Project teams for design execution.
- Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing and fabrication.
- Review customer requirements and provide design solutions.




- Maintain drawing revisions and engineering records.
- Support production teams with technical clarifications and design updates.
- Follow up on design schedules and project deliverables.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication Industry.
- Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Ability to create accurate fabrication drawings and 3D models.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
