Job Overview:

The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee and manage daily manufacturing operations to ensure the production process runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role involves supervising a team, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, monitoring production schedules, and improving operational processes. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervision of Production Team:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of production workers to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure work is completed within set timeframes.
- Provide ongoing training and development to staff to improve performance and skills.
- Production Planning & Coordination:
- Ensure production schedules are followed and adjust resources as needed to meet production targets.
- Monitor and ensure efficient allocation of materials, equipment, and labor for the production process.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Quality Control, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth workflow.
- Quality Control & Safety:
- Ensure that manufacturing processes meet quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and address production issues promptly, escalating to senior management when necessary.
- Enforce safety guidelines and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
- Conduct regular safety audits and train staff on safety protocols.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track production metrics such as output, downtime, scrap rates, and efficiency, and take corrective actions when necessary.




- Prepare daily and weekly production reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, production standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction while maintaining product quality.
- Implement Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to improve operational efficiency.
- Problem-Solving:
- Troubleshoot operational issues quickly and effectively to minimize production delays.
- Address and resolve conflicts within the team or between departments.

Qualifications:

- Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with production processes, safety standards, and quality control.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, production schedules, and work orders.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, reporting, data entry)

Working Conditions:

- Shift work may be required based on production needs.
- Occasional overtime may be necessary to meet production deadlines.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
