- Machine Setup: Prepare and thread yarn, thread, or fiber through guides, tensioners, and rollers on looms.
- Operation and Monitoring: Run automatic or manual looms to produce specified textile patterns and sizes.
- Quality Control: Patrol active machines, spot broken threads or weaving flaws, and check final fabric quality.
- Maintenance: Clear jams, fix minor mechanical issues, and clean or oil equipment regularly

- Experience: High school diploma plus on-the-job training or an apprenticeship in textile production.
