Sales Engineer – HVAC & Turnkey ProjectsRole Overview

We are looking for an ambitious, result-oriented Sales Engineer – HVAC & Turnkey Projects to drive revenue growth across central and applied HVAC solutions. The ideal candidate must hold a Mechanical Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) and bring a proven track record of securing high-value contracts for VRF systems, Chillers, and Applied Chiller packages.

This role requires a self-motivated "go-getter" who thrives in a rapid-paced environment, possesses strong technical acumen, and can build long-term relationships with consultants, contractors, architects, and direct enterprise clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Sales & Solution Design

- Drive end-to-end technical sales for VRF, Air-Cooled/Water-Cooled Chillers, AHUs, and integrated Turnkey MEP/HVAC Projects.
- Review client requirements, Architectural/MEP drawings, BOQs, and tender documents to design optimal HVAC solutions.
- Conduct heat load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing to present cost-effective and energy-efficient proposals.

Business Development & Pipeline Management

- Actively prospect and acquire new commercial, industrial, institutional, and high-end residential accounts.
- Build and maintain a strong network with MEP Consultants, HVAC Contractors, Architects, Builders, and Project Management Consultants (PMCs).
- Pipeline management: From initial lead generation and site surveys to technical presentations and final commercial closure.

Proposal & Commercial Negotiation

- Prepare high-impact technical bids, techno-commercial offers, and competitive price breakdowns.
- Lead contract negotiations, payment term discussions, and final closure of high-ticket HVAC orders.




- Perform value engineering when needed to align solutions with client budgets without compromising performance.

Project Handover & Client Management

- Ensure seamless coordination between the sales team, engineering/projects team, and external vendors for timely execution.
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business, service contracts (AMC), and referrals.

Candidate Profile & RequirementsMetric / SkillSpecificationEducationMandatory: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or allied Mechanical specialization).Experience3–7 years of core sales experience in HVAC Systems (VRF, Chillers, Applied Systems) & Turnkey MEP Projects.Domain KnowledgeDeep understanding of VRV/VRF systems, Screw/Centrifugal Chillers, Hydronic distribution, AHUs, and Ducting systems.Industry ConnectionsEstablished network of MEP consultants, real estate developers, and commercial contractors.MindsetHigh energy, target-driven, resilient "go-getter" capable of working independently in a competitive environment.Software SkillsProficiency in Heat Load Estimation software (e.g., HAP), MS Office, and CRM tools. Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.CommunicationStrong verbal, written, and presentation skills in English and local commercial languages.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Annual Revenue Target: Achievement of assigned quota for equipment and turnkey contracts.
- Conversion Rate: Ratio of techno-commercial proposals submitted to contracts won.
- Consultant Empanelment: Number of new consultants and specifiers successfully mapped and engaged.
- Gross Margin Integrity: Maintaining target profit margins during negotiations.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
