Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineer with deep expertise in HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, Java, and Healthcare Interoperability to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade healthcare integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating EMR/EHR platforms, developing scalable APIs, and delivering secure, high-performance interoperability solutions across healthcare ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain healthcare integrations using HL7 v2.x, FHIR R4, and REST APIs.
- Build scalable integration services using Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel.
- Design message transformations, routing logic, and middleware integrations.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize system performance, and ensure application reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor engineering teams on integration best practices.
- Support cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps initiatives.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of Software Engineering experience.




- 5+ years of Healthcare Integration experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- HL7 v2.x
- HL7 FHIR (R4)
- RESTful APIs
- Java / J2EE
- Spring Boot
- Apache Camel
- Middleware Technologies
- Enterprise Integration Patterns
- API Lifecycle Management
- Performance Tuning & Production Support

Preferred Skills

- Experience with EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner (Oracle Health), Allscripts, Meditech, or Athenahealth.
- Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE).
- ADT Messaging, Orders & Results, Clinical Workflows, and Patient Identity Management.
- HIPAA-compliant application development.
- AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps.

- HL7 v2 Certification
