Associate Director - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)
About the Role
As Associate Director - FP&A;, you will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. This is a high-impact role central to business performance, requiring strong analytical capability, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. You will help shape financial strategy, optimize capital allocation, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end planning and forecasting cycle, including operating plans, monthly forecasts, and long-range plans, in partnership with Business Finance, Controllership, and Leadership teams.
- Establish and continuously enhance a centralized planning framework, ensuring consistency in assumptions, financial models, and reporting standards across business units.
- Develop executive-level dashboards and performance insights to support data-driven decision-making for senior leadership and board discussions.
- Conduct variance, trend, and sensitivity analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and performance drivers versus plan.
- Lead scenario modeling and capital allocation analyses to evaluate trade-offs across growth, profitability, and cash flow objectives.
- Own and deliver key FP&A; outputs including monthly performance reviews, leadership updates, board materials, and investor-ready analyses.
- Standardize and automate management reporting by partnering with Analytics and Data teams to scale financial intelligence capabilities.
- Ensure solid financial governance around planning assumptions, KPIs, and metric definitions across Finance and Business teams.
- Collaborate with Business Finance partners to synthesize insights into a cohesive, enterprise-level financial narrative.
- Mentor and develop FP&A; analysts and managers, building a high-performing and collaborative FP&A; function.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant or Master’s degree in Financial Management or related field.
- 8-10 years of total experience, with at least 7+ years in corporate FP&A; or Business Finance roles.
- Strong experience with financial planning, analytics, and management reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, Qlik, Hyperion, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to steer strategic discussions, prioritization, and enterprise-level calibrations.
- Proven track record of building strong partnerships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
