Key Responsibilities:
- Work on RDKV Reference Design Kit Video platform development and customization
- Design and develop multimedia web browser solutions for embedded systems
- Work on WebKit WPE porting customization and browser engine enhancements
- Contribute to OTT streaming solutions with focus on performance and scalability
- Develop and optimize graphics rendering using OpenGL ES2
- Implement and enhance MSE Media Source Extensions EME Encrypted Media Extensions functionalities
- Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure end to end delivery of features
- Debug and resolve performance stability and compatibility issues in embedded environments
Technical Requirements:
- 5 years relevant experience with development of Web Browser for embedded systems with focus on to multimedia
- Excellent C C programming skills
- Proven experience with WebKit WPE porting and or development good knowledge about other Web browser engines
- HTML JavaScript code development experience with deep understanding on how that is translated to WebBrowser engine
- OpenGL ES2 and graphics programming
- Proven embedded Linux experience and good understanding of real time operating systems concepts
- Expertise with MSE EME extensions development
- Experience with DRM used in OTT streaming PlayReady Widevine
- Good knowledge about various streaming technologies and A V containers HLS MPEG DASH
- Good knowledge of contemporary rendering and window managers Wayland Weston Westeros is a big plus
