Position: Deputy
General Manager – Accounts
Department: Accounts
Reporting To: CFO
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Role
Purpose
The General Manager – Accounts will be responsible for overseeing the
overall financial accounting function of the organization, ensuring compliance
with statutory regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, and
supporting strategic financial decision -making. The role requires strong
expertise in Ind AS, GST compliance, and preparation of financial statements,
along with leadership of the accounts team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee
preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
statements in compliance with Ind AS.
- Ensure
timely preparation of balance sheet, profit & loss statement, cash
flow statement, and notes to accounts.
- Review
accounting entries and ensure accuracy of books of accounts.
2. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure
compliance with GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory
regulations.
- Supervise
timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings.
- Handle
assessments, notices, and correspondence with statutory authorities.
3. Audit Management
- Coordinate
and manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
- Liaise
with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure
timely closure of audit observations and compliance requirements.

Financial Controls & Governance
- Establish
and maintain solid internal controls and accounting processes.
- Monitor
compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure
transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.
5. Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Support
preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Monitor
budget performance and provide variance analysis to management.
- Provide
financial insights for strategic decision -making.
6. Team Leadership
- Lead,
mentor, and develop the accounts and finance team.
- Allocate
responsibilities and ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.
- Build
a high -performance finance function.
7. MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare
financial MIS reports for senior management.
- Provide
analytical insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Chartered
Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- Additional
certifications in finance or taxation will be an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum
8 -10 years of experience in Accounts.
- Proven
experience in financial reporting, Ind AS compliance, and GST regulations.
- Experience
in handling audits, statutory compliance, and financial control systems.
- Experience
in real estate / infrastructure sector will be preferred.
