Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical components and products while ensuring compliance with quality, performance, and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products using CAD software.
- Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and engineering documentation.
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and feasibility studies.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to ensure design effectiveness.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product improvement activities.
- Review existing designs and recommend modifications for enhanced performance and cost optimization.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and project requirements.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD,



SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or NX.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of materials, machine elements, and product development concepts.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in product design, machine design, sheet metal design, or tooling design.
- Familiarity with FEA/CAE tools and engineering simulations.
- Knowledge of design validation and testing processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or related disciplines.

Experience

- 0–5 years of experience in Mechanical Design, Product Design, CAD Modeling, Machine Design, or related fields.
- Freshers with strong project or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
