Job description:

The Liaising Officer handles all statutory approvals and licenses for land development and building projects. The role involves coordinating with government authorities, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining proper documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Liaise with DTCP, RERA, TNEB, BOCW, Revenue, and other departments to secure building plan approvals, land use clearances, NOCs, occupancy/completion certificates, and environmental approvals.
- Build solid relationships with statutory authorities, consultants, and contractors; act as the single point of contact for all liaison matters.
- Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance; maintain updated records of approvals, licenses, agreements, and government correspondence; coordinate with legal teams on land/title documents.
- Assist project teams in resolving regulatory issues and provide compliance-related inputs during planning.
- Track approval progress, prepare MIS reports, update management,



and highlight risks or delays with corrective actions.
- Should know to read and understand documentation
- Co ordinate with lawyers, know basic approval norms for buildings

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of civil construction regulations, development control rules, and real estate compliances in Tamil Nadu.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Fluency in English and Tamil (mandatory).

Qualifications & Experience:

- Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years in liaison, approvals, or statutory compliance related to construction or real estate projects.
