The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves inspecting materials, processes, and finished goods to identify defects, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement in quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality compliance
- Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests using appropriate tools and equipment
- Identify defects and deviations from specifications
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Report quality issues to supervisors or quality engineers
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and procedures
- Work with production teams to improve product quality
- Conduct audits and support internal/external quality checks
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role (Machineshop)
- Knowledge of quality standards
- Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
