About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Database Developer to join our technology team at our Gurugram Location. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database design, development, optimization, and administration, along with the ability to build scalable, secure, and high-performing database solutions that support business applications.

The role requires someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional development teams to ensure efficient data management and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain relational database structures to support business applications.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Design and implement efficient database schemas, indexes, and normalization strategies.
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning techniques to improve efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and availability across all databases.
- Perform database backups, restoration, disaster recovery planning, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with software developers to design data models and integrate database solutions with applications.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Develop and maintain database documentation, standards, and best practices.
- Support database migration, upgrades, and deployment activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and data governance standards.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

- 6–7 years of hands-on experience in Database Development.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.




- Excellent knowledge of SQL programming, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Experience with query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and indexing.
- Experience in backup, recovery, replication, and database maintenance.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data migration techniques.
- Familiarity with database security concepts and access control.
- Experience using version control tools such as Git is an advantage.
- Exposure to cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or Google Cloud SQL) is desirable.
- Basic understanding of application development environments and APIs is preferred.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant database certifications (Microsoft, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
