Job Summary

The Quantity Surveyor/Estimator Trainee is responsible for supporting estimators in preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, budgeting, and cost control for interior fit-out and construction projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, preparing BOQs, coordinating with vendors and project teams, and ensuring projects are executed within approved budgets.

Key Responsibilities

- Study project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior and construction projects.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Support in preparing project budgets and cost plans.
- Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project execution teams.
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Track variations, additional works, and change orders.




- Maintain estimation records, cost databases, and project documentation.
- Assist in project planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹4,000.00 per month
