The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies.

Requirement

- Identifying the need to purchase products.
- Planning and executing cost-effective purchasing strategies.
- Forecasting the demands of products and materials.
- Researching the vendors, nationally & internationally those are selling the best products at competitive prices.




- Negotiating with vendors to arrive at affordable pricing.
- Should have a sound knowledge of import & custom clearance.
- Maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
- Maintain a database of approved suppliers.
- Coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Keeping a record of all purchased items and vendors.
- Monitoring the stock levels.
- Presenting inventory reports to higher management.
- Supervising the inventory staff.
- Staying updated with the latest market trends.

Desired Skill Set

- Bachelors degree preferably in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or relevant field.
- Proven 5+years of experience working in the Purchasing Department as a Purchase Manager or a relevant role.
- Having sound knowledge of import documentation and custom clearance is a must.
- Should have the knowledge of sourcing international vendors.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
