Role & responsibilities:

Role Summery: We are looking for an experienced accounting qualified to support the Head of Accounts in managing accounting operations, statutory compliances, banking transactions, and finance team activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, import-export transactions, and banking documentation while leading the day-to-day activities of the accounts team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate accounting treatment of all transactions.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS.

• Prepare and file GST returns, reconcile GST data, and handle departmental notices, if any.

• Prepare and file TDS/TCS returns, ensure timely tax compliance, and perform reconciliations.

• Support Income Tax compliance, tax computations,



and assessment-related documentation.

• Handle accounting and compliance for Import, Export, Merchant Trade Transactions, and foreign currency transactions.

• Coordinate with banks for Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Foreign Remittances, and Overseas Direct Investment (ODI) transactions.

• Perform reconciliation of bank accounts, vendors, customers, GST, TDS, and statutory ledgers.

• Ensure timely statutory payments and regulatory compliances.

• Supervise and guide the accounts team, allocate work, review outputs, and ensure adherence to timelines.

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and other external stakeholders as required.
