Job Description

1. Lead technical discussions with customers to understand project requirements, operational workflows, and integration needs for IoT solutions.
2. Convert customer requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution architecture.
3. Coordinate with R&D; and IT development teams for development of IoT devices, firmware, dashboards, and integrations.
4. Review engineering designs, technical documentation, and system architecture before development starts.
5. Plan and execute Proof of Concept (POC) and pilot implementations at customer sites.
6. Perform system validation, troubleshooting, and functional testing of developed IoT solutions.
7. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Junior Engineers and Engineers in the team.
8. Ensure smooth handover of finalized projects to execution/operations teams with complete documentation.
9. Participate in project planning, risk identification, and solution optimization.
10. Support pre-sales teams in technical presentations and solution demonstrations when required.

Required Skills

1.



Strong understanding of IoT architecture, sensors, gateways, and communication protocols.
2. Knowledge of protocols like MQTT, HTTP, Modbus, TCP/IP, RS485, RS232, IEC 104 etc.
3. Experience with IoT platforms, cloud dashboards, and device integration.
4. Ability to prepare technical requirement documents (TRD), solution diagrams, and SOPs.
5. Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, firmware, and connectivity issues.
6. Experience in project coordination with cross-functional teams (R&D;, IT, Operations).
7. Good knowledge of industrial automation systems and field devices.
8. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Good communication skills for customer interaction and requirement gathering.
10. Experience in site implementation, pilot deployment, and system validation
11. Good to have Prior Experience in Power Sector, Substation Automation, Industrial Automation
