A sales engineer combines technical knowledge with sales skills. The emphasis of the work varies depending on the level of technical knowledge needed to sell products, systems and services and respond effectively to customers queries. To ensure customers and company's needs are met, technical sales engineers liaise regularly with other not only customer, but also with members of the sales/service team, project managers as well as senior company management.
General Qualifications
The engineer should have a minimum bachelor degree in engineering. Work experience required is not must.
