Summary:

A Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting Team Member manages the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for a company's physical and leased assets. Key responsibilities include processing capitalizations, tracking depreciation, recording Right-of-Use (ROU) assets and lease liabilities under standards like IFRS 16 or ASC 842, and performing strict month-end close reconciliations.

Key skills:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Fixed Assets Accounting (Capitalization, Depreciation)
- Robust experience in Lease Accounting under IFRS 16 and/or ASC 842.
- Any Graduate

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute end-to-end Fixed Assets accounting activities including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals, and asset reconciliations.
- Perform Lease Accounting transactions in accordance with IFRS 16 / ASC 842, including lease recognition, remeasurement, modifications, and reporting support.




- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of reconciling items.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while meeting SLA timelines.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, documentation, trackers, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Work on ERP systems such as SAP or JDE for accounting transactions and reporting.
- Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and utilize Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reconciliation) for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting queries and provide financial insights.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deliver high-quality work with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance.
- Ensure effective documentation, knowledge sharing, and adherence to organizational standards.
