We are searching for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill the Associate/Senior Associate role in our reconciliation department. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions through meticulous bank reconciliation processes. The successful candidate will be key in maintaining financial transparency and resolving discrepancies on time.
- Role & responsibilities
Perform day-to-day bank reconciliation tasks for deposits and withdrawals from the Nodal account.
- Reconcile bank MIS with system data, ensuring consistency and accuracy on a daily basis.
- Liaise with banks to address reconciliation issues and resolve payment-related concerns promptly.
- Monitor the health of the Nodal account by conducting regular fund checks and age analysis.
- Validate payment gateway commissions, net banking commissions, partner commissions, and wallet commissions against invoices received from banking partners.
- Ensure compliance with agreed-upon commercial terms with banks regarding commission charges.
- Conduct end-of-day balancing and reconciliation of funds, investigating and rectifying any discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unauthorized deductions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports,
including detailed accounts receivable activity.
- Deliver month-end reports such as cost reports and gross margin analysis.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in financial reconciliation processes and tools.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Preferred knowledge of banking and payment systems.
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
Qualifications
- Any Graduate , Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in bank reconciliation or financial analysis is advantageous.
- Thorough understanding of financial principles and procedures.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Certification in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CFA) is desirable.
- Familiarity with reconciliation software and ERP systems is a plus.
