Role Overview:

- Looking for a Senior SQL Developer/SQL Lead with 10-12 years of experience to support a large enterprise analytics and automation platform for a long-term enterprise project in Kolkata.
- The selected candidate will design, develop, and manage complex SQL backend systems, including stored procedures, data pipelines, and database logic supporting enterprise applications and reporting workflows.
- The role requires a solid technical leadership who can take ownership of SQL delivery, guide and mentor junior developers, review database code, and ensure high standards of database performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- The candidate will collaborate closely with Power Apps developers, Power BI developers, business analysts, and cloud infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into scalable SQL solutions and support backend integration with enterprise applications and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop complex SQL stored procedures, views, and backend data logic using T-SQL.
- Build and manage SQL data pipelines supporting enterprise applications and reporting systems.
- Optimize query performance, indexing strategies, and database structures for large datasets.
- Provide technical guidance to junior SQL developers and review database code.
- Collaborate with Power Apps and Power BI teams to support application workflows and dashboards.
- Translate business requirements into scalable SQL solutions and backend data models.
- Support deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of database components across environments.




- Proven experience leading SQL development teams and managing end-to-end database solution delivery.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required Skills

- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL
- Advanced proficiency in T-SQL development
- Experience developing complex stored procedures, views, and backend data logic
- Strong knowledge of query optimization, performance tuning, indexing strategies, and database troubleshooting.
- Experience handling large datasets and enterprise-level data processing
- Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database and data processing issues.
- Candidate must have hands-on experience leading a SQL development team and should have worked in a Lead capacity in recent projects.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Azure data environments
- Familiarity with Power BI datasets and reporting integration
- Experience supporting backend data for Power Apps or similar enterprise applications
- Exposure to enterprise analytics or data platform projects
- Experience working in Agile or enterprise project environments.

Candidate Profile

- 6-10 years of experience in SQL development or data engineering.
- Proven experience working as a SQL Lead, Technical Lead, Database Lead, or similar leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to own backend SQL delivery for enterprise applications
- Experience managing, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior SQL developers.
- Comfortable working in enterprise project environments.
